A parting gift from Leah Jean the best pseudo-housemate ever! I am so sad to have her go, but I am happy that she is no longer homeless!
last semesters work that is finally getting edited.
cotton-bound postage stamps blocked by colour.
Pictured above is the single greatest package I have received in my 22 years on this planet! A set of prints by the incomparable Caitlin Shearer, accompanied by a lovely note and some temporary tattoos, which I shall reveal when I can decide where to apply them!! I tore open the package as soon as I got home from work, and just stared at each of them for about an hour! I tried to decide which was my favourite, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a six-way tie. They are so special, and it’s wondrous to think that I now possess something remarkable that is mine forever.
In progress.
Using Copic Markers again for the first time in too long. I love them, I love portraits and shadows and faces and they make me excited to use them!
This is Preben, I took this photo at his graduation exhibit in Federation Square, Melbourne. He is far too good looking, in my opinion.
Go on, why don’t you indulge me a little…
Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake. Dollops of whipped cream. So luscious.
I’ve just finished off a big batch of paintings, so expect to see some new work soon. I feel like things have been a bit slow lately, even though i’ve been working tirelessly. How does that even work?
Finally got around to sending off a bunch of packages this morning to Jess and Kate Rampling, and Imogen aka definitelynologic.
Also, tonight is Caitlin Shearer’s art exhibit in the city and I am so excited! She is very talented.

Trying to acquaint myself more with masking fluid. Unfortunately I have no imagination or skill.
