I am lucky enough to call these two beautiful ladies, my sisters from another mister, otherwise known as Tessa & Shona (who by the way both have adorable blogs that you should feast your eyes on).

I have known these two since I was about 5, and wow oh wow do I think of myself as mighty lucky to know them both(and the rest of their family too!) I adore these ladies and don’t quite know what i would do without them, and the tea parties we share, the snuggles & nap times, the tears, the laughter, and the just general frolicing fun! They are rare gems, and two of the most beautiful human beings in my world. We don’t need blood to call one another family, and that’s what I love about my relationship with them.

The real reason for this post is, it is their 21st birthday, (well the final minutes of their birthday anyway) and to seal the end of their birthday sweetly I just wanted my Tumblr world to know how lucky I am, and to re-wish them both(and their other partner in crime of their delight trio, Mitch) a very very happy birthday, and I hope you had an amazing day my sweets!

I love you more then words, and you know I don’t use the “L” word lightly, but with you too I will well and truly use it over and over. You are amazing and I adore you.

‘Binary’, lithograph print.

My first lithograph! My friend Tyza taught me lithography and it’s a more complex process than I anticipated. However, the effort is completely worthwhile when you create a beautiful print. It’s a technique I’d like to master one day. 

It feels so good to create again. I think my obsession with doppelgangers, doubles and twins is unlikely to cease any time soon.
